Recording of folk singer, sound artist and Dead Rat Orchestra member Nathaniel Robin Mann singing Cyril Tawney’s ‘On a Monday Morn’ In Cargo Bay 4 of the MS Stubnitz boat, sung in tune to an electrical drone heard on the day.

As the song progresses it is processed with a convolution reverb, using audio files made from the cargo bay room tone, general ambience from around the boat and water breaking over pebbles on a West Wales beach.

The track opened a recent edition of :zoviet*france:’s podcast A Duck in a Tree.
